What is so special about this program for storytellers? A lot!!!
This is a college-level program opportunity that Alex Mann has taught at Art Center College of Design in the Entertainment Design Animation Track for 4 years. Alex combines the master class curriculum that includes analysis, reviews, and guidance, with time for one-on-one mentoring and a showcase at the CTN animation eXpo 2022.
PROGRAM: The Exhibiting Artist Program
The Exhibiting Artist Program's main focus is to support, cultivate and empower new independent and future storytellers with an artist exhibition opportunity at conferences, art galleries and other events around the world.
PROGRAM: Route 66
For future independent directors, filmmakers and studio start ups to support and empower entrepreneur indie artists and their projects being done 'In Their Own Words'. Global stories and visions.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION
Age requirements can vary depending on the program.
Must have a portfolio or reel displaying work.
Must be able to travel.
Must be able to understand and communicate well in English.
Must own the rights to any artwork that is submitted.
In the event of a dispute as to eligibility, the Foundation will decide whether an applicant is eligible, and its decision will be binding.

And select the scholarship you are applying for.
We recommend taking your time to show your best work. Quality over quantity! Your portfolio should show your best work! Please organize your work to highlight your passion for visual storytelling.

AWARD PROCESS
There are multiple scholarships to apply for.
There are Judges for each category.
The Foundation will notify each winner and announce the winners in each category.
The Foundation in some cases will announce the Finalists in a press announcement.
Winners in each category in some cases will be featured at special events.
Each Winner will receive a prize. Each Finalist, if any, will receive a runner up prize
.
EVALUATION AND REVIEW
Your work will be evaluated by judges who are veteran or current working professionals in the animation industry on the below criteria.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
All applicants for the CTN Foundation Awards must agree to the terms and conditions.
The CTN Foundation is closely monitoring the best health and safety practices associated with COVID-19 for future programming that may include any in-person events.
Winners, if selected, must agree to participate in the Foundation’s exclusive Scholarship Alumni program, the details of which will be conveyed to them by the Foundation.
