POMEROY ART ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
DESCRIPTION: Whether you are interested in 2D or 3D animation, learning the core illusion of life techniques from a Disney Legend will bring your characters to life! This Traditional 2D Animation Intensive gives you the tools to see your characters come to 'life' through hands on experience learning and tutoring!
This intensive program discusses and explains the simplest to most complex theories, ideas, and choices in creating full 2D Classical Animation creating the illusion of life. The program includes:
- 6 Weeks Total (4 Weeks Live Lessons, 2 Weeks One-on-One Reviews)
- Core Principles of Full Animation
- One-on-One Critiques
- Assignments

- Applications Open August 1, 2024.
- Applications Close September 9, 2024, at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
- Recipients Notified by September 20, 2024.
- Class begins October 1, 2024.
THE AWARD:
- This 2D Animation Intensive with Pomeroy Art Academy is held in Zoom, and is part of the Next Gen Initiative Series and will begin in the first week of October 2024.
- One Hour Lectures + Assignments
- 30-40 minute One-on-One Assignment Critiques
- Q&A Following Each Lecture
- Scholarship is open to ages 16 and up.
