Dean Cundey, ASC is an Academy Award–nominated cinematographer whose work has helped define the visual language of modern cinema for over four decades. Known for his mastery of lighting, composition, and camera innovation, Cundey has collaborated with some of the most influential filmmakers in the industry, bringing unforgettable stories to life on screen.
His acclaimed filmography includes iconic titles such as Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Apollo 13, Halloween, and The Thing. Across genres ranging from groundbreaking visual effects-driven blockbusters to intimate character studies, Cundey’s work is recognized for its clarity, precision, and immersive storytelling.
